Drive-By Shooting Claims Life of Teen Boy in Chicago’s West Side

Chicago, Illinois – A tragic incident unfolded on the city’s West Side in the early hours of Friday morning, resulting in the death of a teenage boy in East Garfield Park.

Chicago police reported that the fatal drive-by shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on the 2800 block of West Polk Street. The teen victim was standing on the street when a black vehicle approached and an occupant inside opened fire, striking the teen with multiple gunshot wounds.
