Bintulu, Malaysia – Following a disturbing video surfacing online, Bintulu MP Dato Sri Tiong King Sing has taken a strong stance against gang violence in the city. The video, allegedly depicting a gang member using scissors to harm another individual, has ignited fear among the public, leading to concerns about the influence of gangs in Bintulu.
Tiong, who also serves as the assemblyman for Dudong, expressed his outrage on social media and urged the local police to take decisive action against gang-related crimes. He emphasized the need for strict enforcement of the law and called for an end to gang violence in the community.
The lawmaker revealed that the suspect in the video had surrendered to the police, urging the Bintulu district police chief and his team to handle the case with the utmost seriousness. In a stern warning, the Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture vowed to crack down on gang activities in Bintulu, declaring that there would be no leniency for those involved in criminal acts.
