Pennsylvania man watching tv is stabbed repeatedly in the face by his 39-year-old girlfriend

GETTYSBURG, PA – A woman was arrested this week after an alleged violent assault inside a York County trailer left the victim bloodied and led to a search through the residence to locate the suspect hiding beneath blankets, authorities said.

According to police, officers rushed to a trailer on Walker Avenue in Cumberland Township late Monday evening after receiving a desperate call from a man who claimed his girlfriend had stabbed him during a dispute. When authorities arrived, they reportedly observed an active fight taking place in the kitchen through a window.

The injured man, covered in blood, managed to answer the door for police, while the woman, identified as Christina A. Morris, 39, fled toward the back of the home. Officers entered the trailer and eventually located Morris, concealed under a pile of blankets in a rear bedroom, police said.

Morris was taken into custody at the scene and held in a patrol vehicle while officers interviewed the victim. The man told investigators he had been watching television when Morris approached him unexpectedly, threatening to kill him and his family.

Investigators said Morris then allegedly armed herself with a kitchen knife and attacked the victim, striking him repeatedly in the face and attempting to stab him in the neck. The victim managed to block the knife with his left arm, suffering wounds to his arm and shoulder during the struggle.

Emergency medical personnel treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to Gettysburg Hospital for further care. Authorities described the kitchen as being covered in blood, and they were able to retrieve what they believe was the weapon from a silverware drawer.

Morris reportedly agreed to speak with detectives, purportedly admitting to confronting the victim with a knife before returning it to the kitchen drawer.

Morris faces several felony charges, including attempted homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Court records also list misdemeanor charges of simple assault and possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use it.

At her initial hearing Tuesday, bond was denied after the judge deemed Morris a danger to the community. She remains in custody at the Adams County Prison, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 10.

No further information was released regarding the victim’s condition following his hospitalization. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not disclosed details that might indicate a motive in the alleged attack.
