Minneapolis, Minnesota — A federal agent involved in a controversial shooting that resulted in the death of a woman is being identified as Jonathan Ross, a 43-year-old Iraq War veteran with nearly two decades of service in both the Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Records reveal that Ross has been a deportation officer with ICE since 2015 and is currently stationed in Minnesota.
The shooting incident unfolded when 37-year-old Renee Good was fatally shot as she attempted to drive away from federal agents. Ross reportedly believed that Good was trying to run him and other agents over with her vehicle.
