TOPEKA, KS – A young girl kidnapped over a month ago was discovered unharmed by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper during a routine traffic stop, authorities revealed Saturday.
The child’s safe recovery unfolded when a Kansas Highway Patrol officer halted an SUV carrying two elderly men and the six-year-old along a Kansas highway. The driver, already known to law enforcement for previous violations, including homicide and weapons offenses, was traveling with a passenger wanted in another state for kidnapping.
