TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. – Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish are investigating the tragic death of a well-known therapist, William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, whose body was discovered along a highway. The Baton Rouge Police Department has identified a person of interest in the case as 20-year-old Terryon Ishmael Thomas, known for his presence on the social media platform TikTok.
Thomas is facing charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, but these charges are not directly related to Abraham’s death. The incident reportedly involved Thomas crashing a stolen vehicle belonging to the deceased therapist.
According to reports, Abraham suffered a violent attack resulting in blunt force trauma to his head, neck, and shoulders. Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the attack as very physical and brutal, with signs of significant bruising on the victim’s body. Although no weapon was found at the scene, investigators believe the assault occurred elsewhere before Abraham’s body was dumped.
Law enforcement officials are now focused on determining where the attack took place, as a search of Abraham’s home did not reveal any evidence of a crime being committed there. The community is urged to come forward with any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the Tangipahoa Parish Criminal Investigations Office or Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa to provide anonymous tips regarding the case. The authorities are working diligently to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident that has shocked the local community.
