Los Angeles, California – Actor Johnny Wactor, known for his role on “General Hospital,” tragically lost his life in a senseless shooting in downtown Los Angeles this past weekend. The 37-year-old actor encountered a group of thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car when the fatal incident occurred.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Wactor had just finished a bartending shift and was heading back to his vehicle when he unexpectedly came face to face with the suspects. The thieves had raised his car with a floor jack and were in the process of committing the theft when Wactor confronted them.
The thieves, dressed in dark clothing, fled the scene in a dark sedan after the shooting took place on Hope Street early Saturday morning. Unfortunately, despite being rushed to the hospital, Wactor succumbed to his injuries.
