IRVING, Texas – A man wanted for a deadly shooting at a Chick-fil-A restaurant has been apprehended by authorities. Oved Argueta, 37, was arrested in connection to the murders that took place on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police reports, the tragic incident occurred at the Chick-fil-A restaurant located near MacArthur Boulevard and Walnut Hill Lane in the Los Colinas neighborhood. The suspect allegedly shot and killed two individuals inside the establishment.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time. However, authorities have indicated that they believe the victims were specifically targeted by the perpetrator.
Upon hearing about the shooting, a concerned mother rushed to the scene after receiving a distressing call from her teenage daughter, who was working at a nearby fast-food restaurant. The mother expressed her shock and concern for her child’s safety in such harrowing circumstances.
