Fort Worth, Texas – A $50 million lawsuit has been filed against singer Chris Brown and members of his entourage for their alleged involvement in a violent assault against four concertgoers. The lawsuit accuses Brown, along with Cinko Ceej, Hood Boss (Omolulu Omari Akinlolu), Yella Beezy (Markies Deandre Conway), and Live Nation, of attacking the men during a concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The incident, described as unprovoked, reportedly saw Brown and his entourage throwing chairs and physically assaulting the plaintiffs. The victims, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Damarcus Powell, have sought $50 million in damages. A police report has been generated by the Fort Worth Police Department, and an investigation is currently ongoing.
According to the lawsuit, the altercation involved multiple strikes to the victims’ heads and chests, leaving them severely injured. Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the victims, emphasized the need to seek all damages allowed by the law, including punitive damages against Brown and his entourage.
Following Brown’s concert, the plaintiffs were invited to a VIP area where Brown allegedly instructed women to surrender their phones. When Brown returned, an altercation ensued after one of the men approached him to congratulate him. The lawsuit claims that Brown then ordered his entourage to attack the men.
All four victims received medical treatment, with Parker being hospitalized for head injuries. This lawsuit is not the first legal issue for Brown, citing previous incidents involving assault towards Rihanna and a separate incident in which he allegedly injured a patron by throwing a tequila bottle.
In another legal matter, Brown reportedly owes nearly $2 million to City National Bank for failing to make payments on a loan taken out in 2018. A judgment was confirmed by a Los Angeles court in March, requiring Brown and his investors to repay the bank.
