Assault Hoax: New Jersey Woman Allegedly Staged Attack Involving Body Modification Artist and Political Messages

Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey — A 26-year-old woman is facing serious charges after allegedly orchestrating a violent hoax that involved self-inflicted injuries and falsely accusing unidentified assailants of an attack. Authorities allege that Natalie Greene hired a body modification artist to slash her skin and made a disturbing call to police, claiming she was assaulted by armed attackers while out for a walk.

On July 23, 2023, police arrived at a trail in Egg Harbor Township in response to Greene’s emergency call. Upon their arrival, they found her in a compromised state, reportedly with her hands and feet bound with zip ties, her shirt wrapped around her head, and multiple cuts on her body. Disturbingly, the words “Trump whore” were emblazoned on her midriff, and a message accusing a federal official of racism was scrawled on her back.

Investigations revealed that Greene had been employed by a U.S. federal official, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed. However, reports indicate that she had worked for New Jersey Republican Representative Jefferson Van Drew. Prosecutors have asserted that Greene staged the entire incident, casting suspicion on her motives.

According to the criminal complaint, Greene’s alleged accomplice provided an account that contradicted the narrative of a random attack. In the 911 call transcript, the unnamed individual claimed that the supposed attackers addressed Greene by name and made political comments during the incident. The co-conspirator stated they managed to escape one of the assailants while insisting the attackers seemed primarily focused on Greene.

Despite Greene’s claims of being threatened with a gun and physically restrained, further examinations uncovered evidence contradicting her story. Medical professionals treated her for her wounds, but investigators later established that she had arranged for a body modification artist to inflict the injuries deliberately, following a design she provided.

In addition to the troubling details of the incident, police discovered zip ties in Greene’s vehicle that were similar to those used to restrain her. Notably, her alleged co-conspirator had conducted online searches for “zip ties near me” just two days before the incident, further implicating both in a calculated plan.

Greene has been charged with conspiracy and making false reports to law enforcement, charges that could lead to a decade in prison and fines totaling $500,000 if she is convicted. The case continues to unfold as investigators assess the full scope of this bizarre and unsettling incident.
