Assault Suspect Caught on Camera Attacking Security Ambassador in West Hollywood: Public Help Needed to Identify and Locate

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Authorities in Los Angeles County are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in an assault on a Block-By-Block Security Ambassador in West Hollywood. The incident occurred on February 15 at around 1:20 a.m. in the 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

According to surveillance footage, the attack began when two individuals engaged in a verbal confrontation with the security ambassador, ultimately escalating into a physical altercation in the middle of Santa Monica Boulevard. The security ambassador was beaten with a flashlight and pepper-sprayed during the attack, which was witnessed by passing vehicles.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station were able to apprehend one suspect, who has since been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. However, the second suspect remains at large. The unidentified suspect is described as an adult male, around 30-40 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing about 190 pounds.
