Attack in Evansville Leaves Man in Critical Condition; Three Suspects Arrested

EVANSVILLE, Indiana – In a disturbing incident, three individuals have been apprehended following a vicious assault that left a man in critical condition in Evansville. The Evansville Police Department reported that officers were summoned to the scene on E. Tennessee Street after receiving a distressing call around 10:30 p.m. The individual making the call informed police that a man covered in blood had appeared on their porch.

According to officials, the victim was quickly transported to an emergency room due to severe head trauma, with surveillance footage revealing two men attempting to fatally harm him. The footage captured a confrontation outside a local gas station where 35-year-old Charles Ethan Miles allegedly initiated the attack by attempting to strike the victim with an unidentified object.

Subsequent events detailed in the affidavit painted a grim picture as the victim was targeted and assaulted by Miles and another suspect, 32-year-old Cade Christopher Kirk. The assault unfolded on a residential street, culminating in the victim being repeatedly struck in the head during a violent altercation.
