PALAMU, India — In a troubling incident in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, miscreants allegedly attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Somesh Kumar Singh and his teenage son during the construction of a boundary wall on their property. The attack unfolded in Bindubigha village, where a group of locals reportedly turned violent.
Officer-in-Charge Afzal Ansari from the Haidernagar Police Station stated that Singh and his 17-year-old son, Ayush, were assaulted with sticks and rods, resulting in injuries that have raised urgent concerns about community safety and law enforcement’s effectiveness in the area.
