Attackers Allegedly Smash into Alice Springs Home in Violent Home Invasion and Robbery

Alice Springs, Australia – A woman in Alice Springs was reportedly struck in the head during a violent home invasion overnight, where three men broke into a residence wielding an axe, ransacked the house, and fled with stolen items.

According to NT Police, the incident occurred in the East Side suburb just before 4 am on Sunday. The female resident was allegedly attacked with a baton multiple times before the offenders demanded vehicle keys and other valuables from the home.

After ransacking the residence for about 20 minutes, the attackers left but returned shortly after to demand the residents leave the bedroom. They proceeded to steal jewelry, a laptop, and cash from the home before fleeing the scene.

Despite the violent nature of the attack, the offenders did not take any vehicles from the property. NT Police Duty Superintendent Tanya Woodcock expressed concerns about the trauma experienced by the victims and appealed to the public for information or CCTV footage related to the incident.

Residents in the Bougainvilia Avenue area are urged to come forward with any information that might assist in the investigation. NT Police are working diligently to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure the safety of the community following this disturbing event.
