Burglary Suspect Sought in Sevenoaks: Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage

Sevenoaks, Kent – Detectives in Sevenoaks, Kent, are actively seeking dashcam footage from the public after a woman was assaulted by a man who entered a residential property near Wildernesse Golf Club in Parkfield. The incident occurred during a violent burglary on June 21, 2024, where the suspect stole various items, including jewelry.

Police have released a CCTV image of a cyclist believed to be connected to the burglary. The image shows the cyclist wearing a high visibility vest and was seen in the vicinity of the Buck’s Head pub and Sevenoaks Preparatory School around 4.50pm on the day of the incident. Authorities are urging motorists to review any dashcam footage taken between 3pm and 6.30pm along specific routes leading to surrounding areas like Underriver, Riverhill, Bitchet Green, and Hildenborough.

DI Maxine Harris, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, emphasized the importance of driver cooperation in locating the suspect. Harris urged those who travel in the area to check their dashcams for any potentially valuable evidence that could aid the investigation.
