Chris Brown Entourage Sued for Alleged $US50 Million Assault Incident

Fort Worth, Texas – Chris Brown and members of his entourage are facing a $US50 million lawsuit for an alleged “brutal” and “violent” assault on four concert attendees after his performance at Dickies Arena. The R&B singer, along with individuals identified as Conway, Hood Boss, and Sinko Ceej, are accused of attacking Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Damarcus Powell without cause.

The lawsuit obtained by People magazine details the incident as an unprovoked attack backstage, where Brown and his associates reportedly beat the four men severely. In addition to Brown, Live Nation, the promoter behind the 11:11 Tour, is also being sued for its alleged involvement in the altercation.

According to the complaint, despite Brown’s history of misconduct and violence, Live Nation continued to support and profit from his tour. The plaintiffs’ attorney, Tony Buzbee, emphasized that in Texas, everyone is expected to abide by the law regardless of their status or fame, condemning the “unprovoked violence” perpetrated by Brown and his entourage.

The lawsuit describes a scene where the plaintiffs were surrounded, chairs were thrown at them, and they were kicked and stomped while on the ground. The physical assault resulted in significant injuries to all four men, who were awaiting Brown in the VIP area following his performance.

Allegedly, the altercation was triggered when Bush congratulated Brown as he sought to exit the area, prompting a member of Brown’s team to accuse him of past conflicts. Subsequently, the plaintiffs were pursued by a group of individuals associated with Brown and subjected to the violent assault in the hallway as they attempted to leave.

The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages exceeding $50 million, covering a range of losses such as medical expenses, pain and suffering, and emotional distress. The lawsuit references Brown’s previous legal issues, including his 2009 assault on Rihanna, as well as allegations of physical and sexual assault in 2023.
