Clayton County Shooter Who Killed 19-Year-Old Still on the Run

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – Police in Clayton County are still on the lookout for the perpetrator responsible for the tragic shooting that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Kiyre Allen and left four others injured at an apartment complex in 2022. The incident took place on August 13 at the Parks at Leeds apartment complex on Riverdale Road.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered five individuals who had been shot near Building K. Sadly, Kiyre Allen was the sole fatality among the victims. The young man had recently graduated from Creekside High School, where he was known for his accomplishments and had been voted Mr. Creekside.

According to reports from Allen’s family, he had been spending time with friends at the apartment complex before the shooting occurred. The group, described as aspiring entertainers, had been preparing to attend a show when they were unexpectedly faced with gunfire after a dispute regarding a stolen dirt bike escalated.

More than a year after the tragic event, authorities are once again reaching out to the public for any information that may help identify the individual responsible for Allen’s murder.
