Portland, Oregon – A shooting at a North Portland hotel early Wednesday morning led to the death of one man and the subsequent detainment of a suspect after a lengthy search by the police. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m., prompting officers to respond to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of Quality Inn & Suites along Northeast 82nd Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a man with injuries who was later pronounced dead at a hospital after being transported via ambulance. The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) issued a statement stating that the man’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
