DJ Shot Dead at Ranchi Bar After Being Refused Alcohol: Gunman on the Loose

Patna, India: A tragic incident unfolded at a bar in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, where a man shot and killed a DJ after being refused alcohol by the staff. The shooter, captured on CCTV, entered the Extreme Bar wearing only shorts, with his face covered by a t-shirt. The victim, a DJ, was unfortunately declared dead after being rushed to RIMS hospital in Ranchi.

According to authorities, the suspect and four others arrived at the bar after closing time, demanding alcohol from the employees. When their request was denied, a confrontation erupted between the group and the bar staff. It was during this altercation that one of the individuals brandished a rifle and fatally shot the DJ at close range in the chest.

Following the shooting, the perpetrator and his accomplices fled the scene, leaving the bar employees in shock. Law enforcement officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandan Sinha, are currently investigating the incident. The CCTV footage from the bar is being thoroughly reviewed in an effort to identify the shooter and any other individuals involved.
