Las Vegas, Nevada – A gruesome and violent attack in Las Vegas left a victim missing his eyeball and ear, with the suspect claiming he was fighting a “shape-shifter” and that he had not slept for days due to being possessed.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning, with a 911 call reporting a fight in a 7-Eleven parking lot where a man was seen attacking another and exhibiting erratic behavior. Colin Czech, 31, was found kneeling next to the victim with blood on his face and hands, along with biological matter on his clothing, according to authorities.
Upon police arrival, Czech remained in a trance-like state and did not provide any details of the attack. The victim, identified only as Kenneth, was rushed to a trauma center but tragically succumbed to his injuries. Czech, displaying signs of being in and out of consciousness, was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
During questioning, Czech claimed that he believed a higher power was guiding him to harm the victim, using his teeth to consume the victim’s eyeballs and ears. He cited voices in his head commanding him to carry out the gruesome act, stating he thought he was battling a shape-shifting entity.
Investigators later discovered the victim’s body was missing a left eye and ear, with evidence of a violent impact with the pavement. Czech, after being released from the hospital, was arrested for murder and booked into the county detention center.
