Fatal Shooting Leaves Man Dead on Pennsylvania Avenue, DC Police Investigating

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was found dead on Tuesday night in a shooting incident being investigated by D.C. police. The shooting took place at the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, at 5:15 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an unconscious man who was not breathing. The Homicide Unit confirmed the man’s death at the scene. On Wednesday, the victim was identified as 48-year-old Rufus Brown, who had no fixed address.
