BRADENTON, FL – A man in Manatee County is facing multiple charges after allegedly terrorizing his pregnant girlfriend and her two toddlers in a harrowing ordeal, local authorities said. Anthony Jesus Reyes-Enos, 22, has been detained without bail following accusations of domestic violence and child abuse.
The charges against Reyes-Enos include felony domestic battery by strangulation, aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, tampering with a 911 call, false imprisonment, and aggravated child abuse. According to law enforcement, the violence unfolded over two days of arguments and assaults.
The victim informed deputies that during their tumultuous interactions, Reyes-Enos attacked her, citing instances where he reportedly punched her in the stomach.
Desperate to escape the perilous situation, she managed to flee the residence to seek help.
In a chilling turn, after her escape, Reyes-Enos allegedly sent photographs to the woman, displaying various bruises and injuries inflicted on her young children. The images depicted the toddlers, aged 1 and 2, with visible marks indicating physical harm, authorities stated.
Upon receiving reports of the appalling incidents, deputies responded to the 300 block of 58th Avenue East in Bradenton. They found the children bearing lacerations, bruises, and swelling. Emergency medical personnel promptly transported them and their mother to a nearby hospital.
