Floyd Mayweather, Lil Uzi Vert Sued Over Alleged Violent Attack: Uzi Denies Involvement

New York, NY – A lawsuit has been filed against rapper Lil Uzi Vert and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, along with members of Mayweather’s Money Team, over an alleged violent attack that took place last summer. The plaintiff, Abdullah Ali, claims he was assaulted by the defendants after attempting to observe a Mayweather-owned trailer parked near a hotel in NYC on June 27, 2023.

According to Ali’s attorneys, Matthew Blit and Michael Rose, the incident escalated when Ali crossed the street to get a better view of a Rolls-Royce being unloaded from the trailer and began filming. Allegedly, Lil Uzi and members of the Money Team noticed Ali and aggressively confronted him, leading to a physical altercation.

The attorneys stated that Ali was subjected to a barrage of punches and kicks, knocking him to the ground, where at least 10 men, including Lil Uzi, continued to assault him for over a minute. Despite the claims made in the lawsuit, representatives for Lil Uzi have denied any involvement in the incident, stating that the rapper has no association with Mayweather or the Money Team and was not present during the altercation.

While it remains unclear whether Mayweather was present during the altercation, Ali’s legal team reported that he sustained injuries, including knocked-out teeth, and required medical treatment at a hospital. Ali is now seeking unspecified damages as a result of the incident, which was also reported to the police, although no arrests were made.

The case highlights the complexities surrounding celebrity entourages and their interactions with the public, shedding light on the potential consequences of confrontations between fans and high-profile individuals. As the legal proceedings unfold, it remains to be seen how the defendants will respond to the allegations and how the courts will ultimately adjudicate the matter.
