Hostage Crisis Unfolds: Trenton Standoff with Suspect Andre Gordon

FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A tragic series of events unfolded in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, as a man named Andre Gordon Jr. allegedly committed multiple acts of violence, resulting in the deaths of three individuals on Saturday morning. The suspect is now believed to have barricaded himself inside a home in Trenton, possibly with hostages.

The incident began on Viewpoint Lane in Falls Township, where Andre Gordon Jr., 26, is said to have forced his way into a home and fatally shot two people. He then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle after carjacking it earlier in Trenton. The victims have been identified as his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, with three others inside the home managing to hide.

Gordon later proceeded to a home on Edgewood Lane, where he entered forcefully and fatally shot 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two children. Four additional individuals were present in the house, with one sustaining injuries from Gordon’s actions. After leaving the second scene, Gordon carjacked a 44-year-old male at gunpoint outside a Dollar General in Morrisville.

Subsequently, the stolen vehicle was found abandoned in Trenton, prompting the deployment of SWAT teams to search for Gordon. Authorities received reports that he had barricaded himself in a home on Miller Street in Trenton, with indications that he may have taken multiple individuals hostage.

Police suspect that Gordon had prior connections to all the victims who lost their lives in the shootings. He is believed to be without a permanent residence and has ties to Trenton. A shelter-in-place order was issued in Falls Township but was later lifted as authorities continued their investigations.

The unfolding crisis led to the cancellation of the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade and temporary closures of local businesses. Governor Josh Shapiro expressed awareness of the situation and directed the Pennsylvania State Police to collaborate with local law enforcement to provide necessary assistance.

As the situation continues to develop, updates are expected to shed more light on the tragic events in Falls Township.
