Landscaper Attack: Woman Who Ran Down Crew Member Over Quote Going to Prison

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – A woman in Southfield, Michigan has been sentenced to prison for up to 10 years after running down a landscaper she had hired because she was unhappy with the quote she received for the landscaping work. Tiffany Hart reached a plea deal, resulting in her prison sentence for the 2022 incident.

The attack on the landscaper left authorities puzzled upon their arrival at the scene. Witnesses reported that Hart used her vehicle to seriously injure a member of the landscaping crew after expressing dissatisfaction with the quoted price.

Hart was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder. In her defense, she claimed her actions were a result of not being on her medication for an unspecified mental illness and having turned to alcohol in an attempt to cope.

The judge ultimately handed down a sentence of a minimum of two years to a maximum of 10 years in prison for Hart. The incident underscores the potential dangers that service workers face when dealing with dissatisfied or aggressive customers.
