Tulsipur, Dang – A man was taken into custody after allegedly murdering his wife in Tulsipur, Dang. Penduwa Chaudhary, 43, of Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-4, is accused of killing his wife, Lakshmi Chaudhary, 42, by striking her on the head with an iron rod. Police Inspector Navaratna Malla of Tulsipur Area Police Office reported that Laxmi died instantly on Saturday when her husband, under the influence of alcohol, attacked her.
Additionally, two neighbors, Meena Thapa and Sheela Chowdhury, sustained injuries when Penduwa also attacked them with the same rod when they approached to investigate the incident. Both are currently receiving treatment at Rapti Regional Hospital, Tulsipur, and their condition is reported to be stable, according to the ward president of Tulsipur-4, Tulsi Thapa.
The motive behind the crime is yet to be confirmed, and the police are continuing with their investigation.
