Mother Urges Shooter to Come Forward After Bills Fan’s Death

MIAMI GARDENS, Florida – The mother of Dylan Brody Isaacs, a Buffalo Bills fan fatally shot after a Miami Dolphins game, publicly asked the shooter to come forward to ease her family’s suffering at a news conference outside the Miami Gardens Police Department on Friday. The heartfelt plea was made by Susan Isaacs, who met with detectives to inquire about her son’s case, more than a month after he was killed near Hard Rock Stadium on Jan. 7.

Isaacs emphasized the impact of her son’s death, saying, “He was everything.” Isaacs and his friends were walking through traffic after the game when a driver of an older model silver four-door Honda Accord hit a pedestrian, leading to the fatal shooting of Isaacs by the driver.

The sedan was later found a day later in West Palm Beach, roughly 60 miles from the stadium, but the shooter has not yet been identified. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for anonymous tips leading to the arrest of the man who shot and killed Isaacs. During the press conference, Susan Isaacs, alongside her sisters, stated her desire for the shooter to come forward, saying, “I can’t carry any other feelings but the hurt I feel for my son, it will never go away. I got to live with this for the rest of my life.”

Police have questioned a person of interest but have not confirmed whether they have identified the shooter. Miami Gardens investigators are urging potential witnesses with information on the case to call Miami Gardens Police Homicide Detective M. Lissade at 305-474-1620. Additionally, those with anonymous tips are encouraged to contact Miami-Dade & the Florida Keys Crime Stoppers. As the investigation continues, Susan Isaacs is hoping for closure and justice for her son’s untimely death.

The shooting has left an impact not just on the Isaacs family, but on the community as a whole. As the search for the shooter continues, the family and investigators are hopeful that the public will come forward with any relevant information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrator. Community members are urged to provide any helpful tips in order to assist law enforcement in bringing closure to this tragic and senseless crime that has deeply affected the Isaacs family and the entire community.
