Murder Bid: Two Glasgow Men Sentenced for Attempting to Kill Victim with Life-Altering Injuries

Liam McDonald, 36, received a 14-year prison term, while Dylan Haldane, 37, was sentenced to 13 years during proceedings at the High Court in Edinburgh on December 18, 2025. The violent incident occurred on August 13, 2023, at approximately 8:10 PM, outside a location on Ladymuir Crescent in the Pollok area of Glasgow. In a related case, a third man, 39-year-old William Dickson, faced the court earlier, receiving a sentence of 9 years and 4 months on June 12, 2024, for his involvement in the same attack.
