Pontiac, Mich. — A man from Sterling Heights faces murder charges following the fatal stabbing of a Milford resident on New Year’s Eve, a violent act that has disturbed the calm of the usually serene community.

On Sunday, Molinaro was charged with first-degree murder at the 51st District Court in Novi. Authorities denied him bond, and he remains incarcerated in the Oakland County Jail. If he is found guilty, he could face a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
