New York City, New York – A 35-year-old man with a history of violent crimes was arrested on suspicion of pushing his girlfriend onto subway tracks, resulting in both of her feet being severed by an incoming train, according to police sources. The incident unfolded at the Fulton Street subway station in lower Manhattan, where Valdez was apprehended about 11 hours after the attack.
