Patna, India: A fatal shooting occurred at a bar in Ranchi, the capital of the state of Jharkhand, where a man killed a DJ after being denied alcohol by the bar employees. The incident, captured on CCTV, showed the shooter entering the Extreme Bar in shorts with his face covered by a t-shirt.
According to police reports, the accused, accompanied by four others, arrived at the closed bar around 1 am and demanded alcohol from the staff. When their request was denied, a heated altercation broke out, leading to the fatal shooting of the DJ at close range in the chest by one of the individuals.
Following the shooting, the perpetrator fled the scene, leaving the DJ critically injured. The victim was rushed to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) but succumbed to his injuries. Police officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and local authorities, visited the bar to investigate the crime scene.
Authorities are currently reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the shooter and his accomplices. Additionally, bar employees are being interrogated to gather more information about the events leading up to the shooting. The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of the DJ.
