GASTONIA, N.C. – Authorities in Gaston County are currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in one fatality and left another individual injured.
The shooting took place late in the evening on Friday, June 7, at the intersection of Pine Street and Hamrock Road in Gastonia. Police responded to reports of the incident and discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds at the scene. Both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where one tragically succumbed to their injuries. The other victim is reported to be in stable condition as they recover.
