Shooting Investigation Underway After Man Found Dead in Forestville Stairwell

Forestville, Md. – Police in Prince George’s County are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident in Forestville that claimed the life of one man.

The authorities responded to multiple calls reporting a shooting in the 3700 block of Donnell Drive at around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a man inside a stairwell of an apartment building, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

Another man was also found at the location with gunshot wounds and was promptly attended to by first responders before being taken to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, officials believe his injuries are not life-threatening.
