Shooting Tragedy Strikes South Salina Street: One Dead, One Injured in Overnight Incident

Syracuse, New York – In the early hours of Sunday, June 16, Syracuse Police responded to reports of gunfire on South Salina Street. Authorities arrived at the 4100 block of the street in the Valley Plaza area and discovered a 30-year-old male victim who had been shot. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at University Hospital.

Shortly thereafter, a 34-year-old man with gunshot wounds arrived at Crouse Hospital. Thankfully, he is currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
