Seatac, Washington – A man is in recovery after being stabbed during a violent altercation on a Link light rail train in Seatac on Monday night. Authorities from the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to the SeaTac/Airport Station at International Boulevard and South 176th Street around 10:30 p.m. following reports of the incident.

Sound Transit has since beefed up security measures, employing 480 security personnel – double the number from 2022. The increase in security staff aims to address rising concerns over passenger safety and mitigate the risk of further violent incidents on the public transportation system.
