Dublin, Ireland – Shocking footage captured a scene on Talbot Street in Dublin, Ireland, where gangs of young men were seen chasing each other in broad daylight. The incident, which occurred around 4:30 pm, took place in the same location where American tourist Stephen Termini was brutally attacked last year.
The CCTV footage shows two groups of men chasing each other in the city street, with some appearing to be armed. Passers-by going about their business with umbrellas suddenly found themselves witnessing a violent confrontation, as hooded and masked individuals clashed with unseen assailants.
One individual can be seen being chased across the street to the corner of Store Street, mirroring the location where Termini was previously attacked. The melee spills back onto Talbot Street before the gang flees in the direction of Connolly train station.
Witnesses reported that the attackers were carrying machetes, leaving blood stains visible on the street following the incident. Gardaí have since arrested two men in connection with the public order and assault incident on Talbot Street.
One man, in his 20s, was hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while two other men, also in their 20s, were detained for questioning. One of the men has been charged and is set to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice.
