Suspect in Custody After Allegedly Killing Three People in Pennsylvania and Fleeing to New Jersey

Levittown, Pennsylvania – A man accused of killing three people in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, is now in custody after a violent rampage that left a community in shock. Andre Gordon, the 26-year-old suspect, allegedly went on a shooting spree at two different homes in Pennsylvania before carjacking a driver and fleeing to New Jersey.

Authorities scrambled to apprehend Gordon as they believed he barricaded himself inside a home in Trenton, New Jersey. However, Gordon managed to escape the perimeter undetected, only to be stopped and arrested while walking on New York Avenue. The swift apprehension of the suspect without incident brought relief to the community, with Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora expressing gratitude for Gordon’s arrest.

The brutal nature of the attacks shocked residents as Gordon fatally shot his 52-year-old stepmother, 13-year-old sister, and another individual in separate locations. The violence continued as Gordon fatally shot 25-year-old Taylor Daniel and injured Daniel’s mother in a subsequent attack. Thankfully, some individuals were able to hide and avoid harm during the shootings.

Following the shooting spree, Gordon carjacked a driver at gunpoint in a Morrisville parking lot before abandoning the stolen vehicle in Trenton. Meanwhile, falls Township Police have been diligently searching for the weapon used in the shootings in both the home and the carjacked vehicle.

Officials disclosed that Gordon knew all the victims, except for the carjacking victim, and is believed to have ties to the Trenton area. The suspect, reportedly homeless, is believed to be in possession of an assault rifle and possibly other weapons. The FBI in Philadelphia is closely monitoring the incident and collaborating with local authorities in the ongoing investigation.

As the investigation continues, Pennsylvania State Police are providing assistance to Falls Township Police. Governor Josh Shapiro has been briefed on the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. The community is on edge following the violent events, as the shelter-in-place order has been lifted after Gordon was located in New Jersey, approximately 28 miles northeast of Philadelphia.
