The incident occurred at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was addressing a crowd of approximately 3,000 attendees.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed the arrest during a press briefing on Friday. He revealed that a family connection led to Robinson’s identification, as a family member informed a friend about his alleged confession. According to Governor Cox, Robinson acted independently during the tragic event.
