Teenage Girl Killed in Shooting at Alderwood Mall Food Court, Suspected Shooter in Custody

LYNNWOOD, Washington – Tragedy struck at Alderwood Mall on Wednesday evening when a heated confrontation between two groups in the food court escalated into a fatal shooting. A 16-year-old Edmonds boy pulled out a gun and fired at the opposing group, inadvertently striking a 13-year-old girl who was not involved in the altercation.
