Teenage Girls Brutally Attack Another Outside Henderson Bus Station: Shocking Video Goes Viral

West Auckland, New Zealand – A disturbing video circulating on social media depicts a savage attack on a teenage girl outside the Henderson bus station. The video, recorded on a Saturday afternoon, shows a group of teen girls surrounding another girl, knocking her down, and then proceeding to punch and stomp on her while one of the attackers films the violent incident.

The caption on the video reads, “We’re not sorry” and “the girls attacking… they’re all from Waitak”. This shocking display of violence has left the community in shock and disbelief. One witness, who chose to remain anonymous, revealed that the same group of girls had allegedly attacked her daughter earlier in the day at the Henderson Mall.

Law enforcement responded to the incident and made two arrests on Saturday afternoon, with further investigations leading to the identification of two more individuals involved in the assault. This attack adds to a series of violent incidents occurring on or near public transport in Auckland recently.

In a separate incident in the Auckland suburb of Albany, two teenage girls were assaulted by a group of six young people on a bus, with police confiscating a knife from one of the offenders. The victims were left traumatized, with one expressing fear of using public transportation again. This incident follows reports of intimidation and violence by young groups at Albany station, as well as the tragic death of a young man who was fatally stabbed at the station last year.

In response to these alarming events, Auckland Transport and police have heightened security measures at North Shore bus stations to ensure the safety of passengers. Auckland Transport’s general manager of public transport operations, Rachel Cara, emphasized the importance of creating a safe environment for all commuters. She stated that increased patrols, transport officers, and security presence at the stations are part of the immediate response, with a commitment to implementing safety improvements based on police investigations and recommendations.
