Tragedy: Relatives Identify Family Members Killed in East Lansdowne Shooting and Fire

EAST LANSDOWNE, Pa. – The Le family tragically lost five members in a shooting and fire at their home on Lewis Avenue in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. The deceased include Britni McLaughlin-Le, 37, Xuong Le, 40, Natalya Le, 17, Nakalya Le, 13, and Xavier Le, 10. Britni and Xuong were married and the parents of the three children. The family released a statement expressing their devastation and gratitude for the support received.

Relatives identified Xuong Le, Nakalya Le, Britni McLaughlin-Le, Natalya Le, and Xavier Le as the deceased family members. All bodies in the home have been recovered, and authorities believe that Canh Le, the suspected shooter, is among the deceased. The incident also left two police officers injured.

The house caught fire during the encounter, and the firefighters’ efforts were hindered by the ongoing gunfire. It is unclear at this stage what led to the tragic event, and investigators are working to understand the motive behind the shooting. The community is reeling from the loss, as the children from the Le family were known to many in the William Penn School District.

Chin Le, who claimed to be the shooter’s mother, identified him as Canh Le and stated that he was involved in an argument with his 10-year-old nephew before the shooting.
