The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed Griffin’s death on Tuesday, following a prolonged battle for her life in long-term care.
The shooting took place late at night on May 8, 2022, in unincorporated Central Broward near Fort Lauderdale. Griffin, who was only 20 years old at the time, was found in her vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
