Uniontown Shooting Update: Arrest Made, Two Suspects Still at Large

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – An arrest has been made in a shooting incident that occurred near Varndell Street in Uniontown, which left two people hospitalized. The Fayette County District Attorney’s Office announced Santana Daily Jones has been charged with attempted homicide. Meanwhile, two individuals, including Vincent Edward Pratt III, are still being sought in connection to the same shooting and are considered armed and dangerous.

The tragic events unfolded when a man, identified as Joshua Stevens, was shot and killed in the area. The victim allegedly attacked the suspect with a knife before being shot and the suspect fleeing the scene. Uniontown police are actively searching for the shooter and seeking information from the public. Another shooting occurred shortly afterward at Liberty and Varndell Streets, resulting in two males in their late teens to early 20s being wounded and taken to the hospital.
