WESTWEGO, Louisiana – Authorities are currently investigating the fatal shooting of a man in unincorporated Westwego on Monday night. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the homicide, which occurred around 7:30 pm in the 900 block of W. Krueger Ln.
According to JPSO Sergeant Brandon Veal, deputies responded to a report of gunfire and found an unresponsive adult male outside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, the authorities have not been able to establish a motive or identify a suspect in the case.
