Washington woman stabs her mother and her daughter in crazed rampage then says they ruined her life

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA – A Washington woman faces serious allegations involving assault on her adult daughter and elderly mother, incidents that authorities believe were fueled by a desire for revenge. Teri Suiter, 43, encountered the judicial system on Tuesday following her arrest by Spokane Valley police, who intervened during a self-harm threat.

Law enforcement reports detail a harrowing scene from Monday. Suiter reportedly initiated the violent sequence in her daughter’s bedroom, where a knife attack unfolded.

As Suiter’s daughter attempted to protect her child, she was again targeted by the knife. It wasn’t until she managed to force her mother out of the room that she discovered injuries to her back and chest inflicted during the struggle.

The unsettling situation escalated as Suiter turned her aggression toward her own mother. According to court records, not only did Suiter allegedly stab her mother, but she also reportedly shoved her down a staircase before continuing the assault. The daughter, in a bid to protect her grandmother, reportedly used a baby gate to intervene.

Witnesses recounted to police that Suiter accused her family members of ruining her life, vowing to get even with them. The violence culminated in a standoff with police, where Suiter refused to relinquish her weapon, prompting deputies to deploy a Taser to safely apprehend her.

Both victims required hospitalization due to their serious injuries; however, these injuries were not considered life-threatening. They maintain that the attack was unprovoked, heightening their concerns about Suiter’s unpredictable behavior.

In Tuesday’s court session, a representative of the victims voiced their fears, describing Suiter as a persistent threat and urging for the charges to reflect the gravity of her actions. The family stressed their belief in her capacity for further violence.

Faced with two counts of assault, Suiter now awaits further legal proceedings scheduled for May 6. Her bail stands at $500,000, underscoring the severity of the allegations she confronts. As the investigation continues, the community and family remain on edge, concerned about potential future threats from Suiter.
