Watchman Murdered by Co-worker in Manchirevula Over Dispute

HYDERABAD, India – A watchman was brutally murdered by a construction laborer in Manchirevula of Rangareddy district following a dispute between them. The deceased, identified as Jangaiah, worked as a watchman at a scrap godown in Manchirevula, while the accused, Arjun, was a construction worker at the same location. The conflict arose from Jangaiah’s alleged involvement in selling scrap without the owner’s knowledge, despite warnings from Arjun about the illegal activity.

The situation between the two individuals escalated, culminating in a confrontation that turned deadly on the day of the incident, coinciding with the Sankranti festival. The two consumed alcohol together, and the dispute took a fatal turn, resulting in Jangaiah’s murder. The accused fled the scene after the incident, prompting residents to promptly inform the police by dialing 100. The Narsingi police arrived at the location, shifted Jangaiah’s body to Osmania Hospital for postmortem, and registered a case.
