Wrestlers Brutally Attacked by Group of Goons at Gurugram Sports Academy – CCTV Footage Captures the Horrifying Incident

Gurugram, India – In a shocking incident at a sports academy in Gurugram, seven wrestlers were left injured after being attacked by a group of individuals on April 10. The violent altercation, captured on CCTV, showed a group confronting the wrestlers with sticks, leading to a brutal assault.

Reports indicated that a group of around 20 men entered the wrestling arena at the Gurugram sports complex armed with sticks, initiating a fight with the wrestlers. Among the victims was a national-level grappler, highlighting the severity of the attack.

The four wrestlers targeted in the assault, identified as Rajbir, Jeetu, Roshan, and Lokesh, are currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained during the altercation. The video footage of the attack quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing attention to the disturbing incident.

Following the incident, an FIR was lodged at Kherki Daula Police Station against 11 named individuals and others who remain unidentified. One of the wrestlers, Lokesh, detailed in the FIR how he was accosted on his way to the academy, escalating into a violent confrontation that resulted in the assailants thrashing them with sticks.

In his complaint, Lokesh mentioned that the attackers even issued threats to their lives, underscoring the seriousness of the situation. Police authorities, led by Bijender Singh of Kherki Daula Police Station, have initiated an investigation into the incident, conducting raids at locations where the accused individuals are suspected to be hiding.

Meanwhile, the injured wrestlers have suffered fractures to their limbs due to the attack and are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. The community is awaiting justice for the victims of this heinous assault that has shocked the sports fraternity in Gurugram.
