Melbourne, Australia – In a shocking turn of events, former Home and Away actor Orpheus Pledger has recently confessed to a disturbing attack on a woman, an incident that was captured on CCTV footage. The 31-year-old Australian actor, known for his role as Mason Morgan on the beloved soap opera, was seen dragging a woman by her hair before violently stomping on her head.
Following the incident, Pledger was granted bail on April 22 under the condition that he undergo a court-ordered mental health evaluation. However, after being released, the soap star fled from the hospital, sparking a nationwide manhunt across Australia. He was eventually arrested three days later after a warrant was issued for his apprehension.
Initial reports suggest that Pledger was arrested at the scene of the assault in Melbourne during the early morning hours. The chilling CCTV footage captured the actor chasing the victim outdoors, pulling her by her hair, pushing her to the ground, and viciously stomping on her. The victim sustained painful bruises on her face and head, with authorities responding to an emergency call around 1:35 am.
