Assault: Glastonbury Sports Bar Patron Charged After Glass Attack on Employee

Glastonbury, Conn. — A violent incident at a local sports bar has led to the arrest of a New Britain woman, who now faces multiple charges, including second-degree assault. The event unfolded last week at the Clubhouse on Main, shocking patrons and staff alike.

According to a report from the Glastonbury Police Department, 26-year-old Alijah Marie Sanchez was taken into custody on Nov. 29 after allegedly attacking a staff member with a shard of glass. The altercation was sparked when Sanchez reportedly threw a drink glass, which struck an employee before breaking apart. As chaos ensued, Sanchez is accused of picking up a piece of the shattered glass and striking the employee in the head.
