Dallas, Texas – Authorities in Dallas are on the lookout for a woman who violently attacked a Burger King employee in Oak Cliff. The incident, which occurred on April 11 at the intersection of Lancaster and East Ledbetter, left the employee hospitalized.
Surveillance footage captured the woman hopping over a barrier at the fast-food restaurant, where she proceeded to steal food before assaulting the employee. According to Dallas Police Detective Darren Burch, the woman seemed to be focused on taking food rather than money. When confronted by staff, she grabbed some items from the ground and fled the scene.
Detectives believe that the woman is a regular customer at the Burger King and are urging the public to help identify her. Detective Burch emphasized the importance of finding the assailant, stating, “I need somebody to say, hey, we recognize this person and either point her out to me or get me in touch with her.”
